Unser B&B befindet sich an einem Ort mitten in der Natur, an einem Ort mit spektakulären Ausblick. "Villa Quartarella - Soggiorna In Una Vera Masseria Modicana" ist eine renommierte Bleibe wo die Wohlgerüche der Vergangenheit in der Luft liegen, ein zauberhafter und raffinierter Bau, ein antikes Bauwerk wo sich die Echos der Vergangenheit mit der heutigen Gemütlichkeit treffen.

La Masseria nelle campagne di Modica è eccellente. Siamo stati accolti da Francesco in modo esemplare. Ci ha offerto caffè, pasticcini e una fresca orzata! La nostra camera, la n. 1, era molto spaziosa. Nonostante fossimo in 3, l'ambiente era talmente vivibile che avrebbe potuto ospitare comodamente anche 5 adulti. L'esterno offre uno spazio con piccola piscina e un'area per il tiro con l'arco. All'interno invece, c'è una zona con calciobalilla e giochi di società, oltre a una cucina adibita a spazio colazioni. È proprio qui che Francesco ci deliziava con i suoi racconti. Appassionato di storia, ci accompagnava in questa colazione super, con prodotti di casa, dolci fatti in casa, brioche dolci e salate, frutta fresca, acqua al sapore di menta fresca, cioccolato di Modica, e uova delle sue galline. La location è da consigliare per visitare le bellezze della zona, come Modica, Scicli, Ragusa Ibla e tanti altri borghi e spiagge bellissime. Prima di partire, Francesco ci ha pure sciacquato l'auto dalla polvere, offrendo insomma un servizio completo! È un posto che straconsigliamo! Notre séjour au B&B Quartarella a grandement dépassé toutes les attentes fixées. Notre hôte Francesco a été vraiment généreux à notre égard, partageant sa passion pour l’histoire de l’île, donnant de judicieux conseils pour découvrir les alentours et aussi pour nous faire visiter sa magnifique propriété. Que dire également des savoureux petits déjeuners et des excellents cafés qu’il nous a préparé. Il a grandement contribué à rendre ce séjour exceptionnel. L’endroit est magnifique, légèrement isolé pour procurer calme et tranquilité mais aussi suffisamment proche des commerces et des lieux touristiques. Très bien situé! La masseria è un luogo super rilassante, autentico e tradizionale come piace a noi. Il proprietario Francesco è stato gentilissimo, ci ha dato indicazioni su posti da visitare, suggerito ristoranti tipici è molto buoni, preparato una colazione abbondantissima e freschissima. Tutte le mattine va al forno a prendere prodotti dolciari e pane freschi per gli ospiti, a me ha portato sempre prodotti senza glutine deliziosi. Le marmellate sono fatte in casa e la frutta è locale. La posizione della struttura è ottima, in poco tempo si raggiungono le città principali della zona. La camera è spaziosa e fresca, nonostante le alte temperature abbiamo dormito sempre senza aria condizionata e con le finestre aperte. Wonderful place to stay. Francesco is very nice. I was a little scared by the environment before arriving at this oasis of an old house lost in the trees, but the simple and nice decoration put me at ease. There's a small pool to cool off in when it's too hot, and the fresh eggs in the morning, along with succulent jams and pastries of all kinds, are a generous touch. B&B Quarterella is a truly special place. The rooms on this working farm were spacious and comfortable. Francesco and Francesca were amazing hosts. Besides providing enormous delicious breakfasts with excellent coffee, fresh eggs, and a wide assortment of local pastries (and a wonderful pie made by Francesca), Francesco led us into Modica so we could easily find the parking lot. He provided a wealth of information, including detailed maps about local attractions and customs. The piece de resistance was him taking us to a farm to buy fresh olive oil. The farmer was making fresh ricotta, which she “insisted” we sample, along with her fresh bread. We’ve never had such an experience. We found Villa Quartarella an idyllic and peaceful base to explore the Noto Valley and southeast Sicily. The room was spacious and clean with good WiFi. Francesco our host not only provided a sumptuous breakfast but was a mine of information from places to visit and park, where to eat, best times to eat local fruit, farming and wildlife. It was wonderful to be told to listen out for stone-curlews in the evening, and watch out for hoopoes and golden orioles which around during our stay. If you like food, culture or wildlife this is a great place to stay. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer. übersetzen diese Text

We stayed three nights with Francesco. He was a perfect host, assisting with suggestions and providing a wonderful fresh breakfast. There is a kitchen space if you want to bring home food and wine for dinner. He can also help with delivered pizzas. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this stay! My husband and I toured Southern Italy for 16 days with 7 of the days in Sicily. Our time in Italy was fabulous but I must say, my husband and I keep talking about our few days at this property. It was BEAUTIFUL. Francesco treats you as family. He puts together a lovely breakfast each day. Francesco's input on things to do in the area, where to dine, and what to eat were always perfect for us. We would like to go back to Sicily just to stay here. I would love to revisit in warmer weather for a longer period of time to take advantage of the beauty of the outdoors, his pool, the seashore and of course to have Francesco be our host. The owner of this B&B could not have been more friendly and hospitable. We were greeted every morning with delicious breakfasts with fresh pastries purchased earlier in the morning and eggs, coffee and tea cooked and made to order. Villa quartarella is a real Gem. An absolute must to discover the south eastern part of Sicilia. The the b&b is beautiful, extremely confortable and quiet in a bucolic environment. We loved our stay at Villa Quartarella. The converted farmhouse rooms are really nice, comfortable and well decorated. Our host Francesco was very welcoming and full of local knowledge and tips. We had the best time in Francesco’s B&B. It is set up in a lovely setting in the countryside and the bedrooms are really comfortable. It’s very handy for exploring the beautiful towns and also not too far from a nice beach. Francesco made our stay very special with his kindness and precious advice on where and when to go. Ottimo posto per passare le vacanze in un'area molto vicina alle spiagge, circa 20-30 minuti, immersa nella campagna siciliana, profumi tipici, sole e aria sana. A metà strada tra Modica e Scicli, in mezzo a campi di grano, troverete la Masseria Quartarella. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! My husband and I have been traveling around Sicily with our four kids. This was our most enjoyable stay! Francesco and Francesca made us feel right at home. Francesco showed us around the property and told us stories of the antiques he has displayed. He gave us tips on visiting the best places in nearby towns and showed us maps with the best places to park. Francesca was out harvesting capers one evening and she took the time to explain how to prepare them by soaking them in salt. The rooms were well appointed with all necessary amenities. The breakfast was outstanding…fresh eggs collected from the chickens out back, freshly made jams and cakes and pastries, and savory panini were all laid out on our table when we came in. Francesco was an attentive host and the entire breakfast experience was amazing! We hope to return and stay for longer. This place is the best! It is perfectly located near Ragusa, Modica, Noto, and Siracusa and will be a highlight of your trip to Sicily! übersetzen diese Text

Siamo stati ospiti di questa struttura alla fine di aprile e siamo stati benissimo. Abbiamo trovato tutto quello che desideravamo ed anche di più. La masseria, le ricche colazioni, il paesaggio, l'accoglienza. Tutto bellissimo. I nostri due figli hanno apprezzato davvero tanto lo spazio dove poter giocare liberamente e gli amici a quattro zampe (Dickie, Rubble e Bella). E Francesco, il gestore, con i suoi modi, con il suo amore per la sua terra, rende tutto speciale. Gentilezza, cordialità e grande disponibilità. What a wonderful place and Francesco, the owner and host, is the perfect host. He is helpful, kind, considerate and caring. The rooms were very large and well appointed; beds were comfortable and the shower worked well and provided ample hot water. Francesco makes a wonderful breakfast, provided information about the area and places to go and see. We stayed two nights but wished we could have stayed more. Delle mie vacanze in Sicilia, sicuramente indimenticabili per paesaggi e cultura, il mio soggiorno al Quartarella è tra i ricordi più belli. Non potevo desiderare di meglio e dal mio arrivo è stato tutto uno stupire per la bellezza del posto. Francesco mi ha accolto con un fresco latte di mandorla per introdurmi alle usanze del territorio; ha subito dimostrato la sua passione nel raccontare la storia dei luoghi e mi ha dato informazioni su come organizzare le mie visite nei paesi del barocco siciliano. La struttura è una masseria dove i soli rumori sono quelli della natura: stormire di fronde e canto di uccelli. I locali sono una meraviglia per muri in pietra, mobili antichi, oggetti storici. Il luogo ed il proprietario hanno favorito la piacevole conoscenza e relazione con gli altri ospiti. Forse non è un posto adatto per giovani che vogliono essere vicini a luoghi di divertimento, ma per famiglie e persone desiderose di pace, è il luogo ideale. Mi sono piaciuti anche i cieli notturni che, lontani dall'inquinamento luminoso cui sono abituato (Milano), mi hanno mostrato un meraviglioso tappeto di stelle. übersetzen diese Text

La vista della campagna e del mare in lontananza e la posizione vicina ai principali siti del barocco la rendono un posto ideale per un soggiorno in questa parte della Sicilia. Un B&B de charme, restauré avec goût et au calme, où l'on est accueilli par des hôtes d'une grande gentillesse. Luogo ben curato e circondato dalla campagna ragusana. Muretti a secco, piante aromatiche, fiori, vista mare, silenzio, ottima colazione e grande padrone di casa! It was a pleasure to stay at Quartarella! Before we arrived at Quartarella Francesco called and gave us last instructions. Quartarella is located a bit hidden in a quiet area close to Modica. From the apartment complex one has a wonderful look over the sea. The apartments are beautiful and surrounded by a nice garden. Francesco gave us a tour through the garden and the complex after we arrived and told us interesting stories about Sicily. As we arrived quiet late after a long tour he ordered Pizza for us and we stayed at the complex the whole night. The next day we went to the kitchen that is also located at the complex and which was open for us all the time. The breakfast Francesco prepared was great. Many local specialties, coffee and fresh juices made from fruits from his garden. It was perfect. We would like to thank Francesco for his hospitality. Villa Quartarella nous à charmées, tant par l'accueil et la gentillesse de l'hôte que par l'allure et la situation de la masseria. On se sentait à la campagne, on voyait la mer au loin et pourtant on n'était qùà quelques minutes de petites villes pittoresques comme Modica, Ragusa et Scicli. Il y avait aussi un petit bassin pour se rafraîchir. Très calme pour dormir et offrant un petit déjeûner abondant et délicieux, avec des choix salés ou sucrés et des œufs des poules de la ferme, nous recommanderions cet endroit sans réserve et nous y retournerions pour une plus longue durée. übersetzen diese Text

Das Zimmer ist eigentlich eher eine Wohnung, was dadurch viel großzügiger und geräumiger ist. Die Küche kann jeder für eigene Mahlzeiten nutzen, was sehr angenehm ist und Kontakt zu anderen Gästen ist dadurch leichter zu bekommen. Der sehr nette Gastgeber ist allzeit hilfreich, den Gästen Empfehlungen für Ausflüge oder Restaurants oder andere Tipps zu geben. Beim Frühstück konnten Wünsche geäußert werden, wobei wir uns mehr italienische Eigenarten gewünscht hätten. Der Hausherr hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, sich an die Frühstücksgewohnheiten der jeweiligen Länder oder Gäste anzupassen (was aber natürlich nicht immer ganz klappt). Wir lernen im Urlaub sehr gerne andere Sitten und Gebräuche kennen, das geht dabei leider ein bisschen verloren. In der Übergangszeit kann es kalt werden nachts, da die Sonne wegen der heißen Sommer weitmöglichst ausgesperrt ist. Man merkt es leider erst in der Nacht, wenn einem kalt ist, eine bereitliegende Decke wäre dann schön. Sehr empfehlenswert mit und ohne Kinder. Aber auch erholsam für Ruhesuchende.

Accueil professionnel et généreux dans cet agriturismo idéalement situé à proximité des plus belles villes de la Sicile baroque. Modica, Ragusa, Scicli, Noto sont toutes proches. Aux alentours, nombreuses plages préservées, notamment dans la réserve de Vendicari. La maison a été rénovée avec soin et respect et se trouve dans un environnement miraculeusement préservé, à quelques kilomètres de la zone industrielle de Modica. This idyllic farmhouse is one of the loveliest places you could ever imagine staying. The beautiful courtyard is filled with flowers, the rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished, the ambience, created by Francesco and his two dogs, is quite charming. He is an excellent host - giving maps, and brimming with recommendations about restaurants, places to visit and interesting information all about his area - not to mention a wonderful breakfast of local produce. Modica, Scicli and Ragusa are all within easy reach, as is the beach at Sampieri, although there is also a delightful small pool on-site. You do need a car to reach it, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the B&B Quarterella as a romantic, memorable, characterful and relaxing place to stay in the Herat of the South Sicilian countryside. Wonderful hosts who assisted us all they could. Bedroom 1 needs to have the shower doors attended to as they came apart. The AC was difficult to manage and had little by way of regulation.
