100 m from the beach of Isola delle Femmine, the bed and breakfast Alla Torre is named after the "Torre in terra", a sighting outpost built by the Aragonese, which is only a few meters away from the house. Built in the fifteenth century, its purpose was to protect the coast from the pirates.

A few meters away from the coast is the famous Isolotto (Islet) with its lookout tower (Torre a mare) where, according to legend, thirteen Turkish girls, guilty of serious crimes, were imprisoned.

In 1997, the Nature Reserve of Isola delle Femmine was established, to protect local vegetation and wildlife, and to encourage wildlife species to make a stop on the island during their migrations.

Isola delle Femmine, with its fine 2km long beach, is located 20 minutes from Palermo’s historic city centre, 15 minutes from the airport, and the resorts of Mondello and Sferracavallo. Only a few kilometres away you can find the principal natural attractions of western Sicily: the Zingaro natural reserve, the beaches of Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo, Castellammare del Golfo and Terrasini.

A small fishing village, Isola dele Femmine is home to several seafood restaurants, well equipped beaches, seaside night clubs, as well as diving centres, surf, sailing and windsurfing schools. It has all you need in order to spend a dream holiday in Sicily, enjoying sport, culture and relaxation!

La villetta, situata in un tranquillo paesino un po' addormentato, è bella e con conduzione familiare. Pur essendo una struttura vecchiotta, è ben tenuta. Tuttavia, presenta qualche piccolo inconveniente: l'accesso con l'auto è macchinoso, ma il parcheggio è gratuito e ben protetto, almeno nel periodo in cui ho soggiornato. Inoltre, ci sono poche prese per le ricariche e i mobili sono scarsi, con solo un piccolo armadio a muro insufficiente per due persone se il soggiorno si protrae oltre la settimana. La villetta dispone di bei terrazzini fruibili per un momento di relax o per la colazione che si prepara autonomamente. Questi terrazzini danno su un giardino ben tenuto. Situata a 1 minuto dal mare con passaggio privato fino in riva al mare. Ottima la soluzione chiavi in cassetta per gestire meglio l'arrivo in autonomia. All'arrivo, in ogni caso, c'era la mamma del titolare, gentile e cordiale, che ha risposto a tutte le nostre domande anche riguardo alla zona. La colazione in autonomia con la macchinetta del caffè e del cappuccino era ottima. L'unica cosa che potrebbe essere un ulteriore piacere sarebbe avere brioches fresche per poter fare colazione sul terrazzo con vista mare o giardino, ma è un plus. Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti all'inizio e alla fine della settimana e abbiamo avuto le stesse impressioni positive. Tutto ok. Translate this text

I fully recommended rhis House. The gost is helpful and frinedly. The hous is clean, safe, quietz. The best place for holiday and take a rest because is close to Palermo with well train communication Im booked without breakfast.

Ottima sistemazione, tranquillo, parcheggio privato, buon trattamento. La villa si trova in una zona molto tranquilla anche se a poche centinaia di metri dal paese. Struttura in ordine, anche se meriterebbe qualche piccola manutenzione per essere perfetta. Proprietari disponibili e molto riservati. In generale una ottima scelta. My name is Tancredi Pedrotti and I am 32 years old. I am the owner of B&B Alla Torre. I began this new adventure in 2016 after working as a chef for several years in Italy and Latin America.

I am a very hospitable and helpful person. I want my guests to feel at home during their entire stay. As a lover of good food, I will be able to recommend the best traditional dishes of Sicilian cuisine.
