Eccellente struttura, eccellente accoglienza, eccellente camere e eccellente pulizia. Stanze super riscaldate in un ambiente pulitissimo. La colazione di qualità, con prodotti realizzati dalla proprietaria, è un valore aggiunto. Cura e attenzioni cadono subito a l'occhio e in un attimo sei acclimatato in un ambiente piacevolmente confortevole e in breve familiare. Soggiornare da Susanna è paragonabile all'essere accolti in un caloroso e accogliente abbraccio. Sin dal primo ingresso, saltano all'occhio la cura nei dettagli e i colori caldi che sono lo specchio di tutta la dolcezza e la disponibilità della proprietaria. Susanna made the two of us very welcome. She creates a lovely calm and homely atmosphere. Our room (ensuite) was spacious. It led directly on to the patio and Susanna's lovely garden where we enjoyed her delicious home made breakfasts - bread, cake, preserves and plentiful supplies of coffee. We also appreciate the kitchenette which made it possible to eat in several nights. Susanna gave us excellent advice about places to visit including Catania, Taormina, and Mount Etna. She made it possible for us to spend a delightful day at a nearby outdoor pool. It helped to have a car and there is easy parking outside the house. Overall, we would strongly recommend Velardi.

The Velardi B&B is a FANTASTIC! place to stay. Our host, Susanna, was very communicative and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and air-conditioned (a necessity given that we were then during the hottest week of the summer). The bathroom was enormous and had a lovely shower that was lit from above with a skylight. Breakfast in Susanna's garden, a tucked away oasis, was magical: fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, juice, coffee, cookies, and homemade sweet breads. The B&B is located just a 5-minute walk from the central town square, convenient to restaurants and the workshop I was attending. Susanna helped to arrange for us: a guided tour of Etna, massages for my wife, a beach trip, and a tour of the Greek Theatre at Taormina--she couldn't have been more informative or helpful. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat--it gets my strongest recommendation.

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo trascorso al B&B Velardi 4 notti per motivi di lavoro. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e quasi non volevamo andare via. La struttura è bella e pulita e Susanna è una padrona di casa gentile e disponibile. La camera dove abbiamo pernottato. La stanza delle Spezie, è abbastanza grande e ben arredata, e ha un bell'affaccio su un giardinetto interno. La notte la camera è silenziosa e si può riposare tranquillamente. Di giorno è inoltre possibile fare la colazione nel giardinetto, così come abbiamo fatto noi grazie a Susanna. La connessione internet funziona molto bene ed è possibile lavorare tranquillamente con il proprio pc dalla camera. Il B&B è posizionato vicino al centro, a due passi da supermercato e farmacie ed è un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare l'Etna e i suoi dintorni. Sono stata benissimo! La casa è molto accogliente, calda, pulita e curata in ogni particolare. Colazione super buona con prodotti bio e a km zero. Luogo Meraviglioso! Susanna ci ha accolti in modo veramente cordiale nel suo Bed and Breakfast, che è bellissimo, molto raffinato e situato in una splendida posizione per visitare l'Etna, Catania Acireale e tantissime altre meravigliose località. Susanna, a biologist, deals with conservation and management of nature. She runs the Monteserra Butterfly House, an important tourist destination in Viagrande where she will be happy to host you for a guided tour among the world's most beautiful butterflies.

She is a Hiking and Environmental Guide and can organize guided tours along the most scenic naturalistic itineraries of Eastern Sicily and trekking on Etna as well.

Susanna is also a Yoga teacher and during the summer season, she organizes individual or collective lessons in the garden of the B&B, which with its magical atmosphere, is a perfect setting for a relaxing yoga practice.
