The Amaranda B&B is located in the OGNINA district, in the residential area north of the city. OGNINA is a historical neighbourhood with a predominance of fishermen, as it is located by the sea. In fact, 800 metres from the building, there is the famous square of Ognina, (Piazza Mancini Battaglia) where many fish and seafood restaurants are located. In September, the 'Madonna' is celebrated with a procession of boats at sea. We are on the border of the municipality of Acicastello, where, a 15-minute drive away, you can admire the famous Faraglioni of Acitrezza (a hamlet of Acicastello). From the Ognina square, the seafront promenade begins, a lava stone cliff where several lidos are located.
