The 18C Villa of the Palermo Bed & Breakfast "La Piana dei Colli", sunk in the most luscious subtropical vegetation, is situated 15 minutes away from the centre of Palermo and 5 minutes distance from the beach of Mondello.

Sicily’s mild climate will allows guests to enjoy the superb garden during all year, indulging in breakfasts, readings or simply walking around its paths.

The owner who is an expert in gardening and botany, decided twenty years ago to transform the abandoned lemon’s garden next to the house into an extraordinary place where she has now gathered a wonderful collection of rare plants. This garden is visited every year by several Garden Clubs.

At breakfast you will sample the traditional Italian "prima colazione" served with fruit from the garden and home made jams. Fresh eggs will be served if you wish. The house interior has been elegantly refurnished and it still keeps the charm of the old palazzo.

Seaside is a few minutes far from the Villa, well-known Mondello beach, and the beautiful rocks of Capo Gallo add pleasure to your journey.

Coastal boat trips (with boatman) available at reasonable prices.

The town of Palermo will require a few days to visit its fascinating historical centre (one of the biggest in Europe) the many churches, the palazzos and the picturesque markets. Day-trips from Palermo can be arranged to visit Monreale, Segesta, Bagheria, Cefalù, Trapani, Erice, Agrigento, San Vito Lo Capo.

The airport of Palermo "Punta Raisi - Falcone Borsellino" is 20 km away.

Guests staying in the B&B must have their own means of transport as the area is not served by public transportation services.

Sono stato accolto dalla proprietaria in modo gentile e premuroso, fin da subito ci ha fatto sentire a casa, e che casa, un villa favolosa con un giardino splendito fatto di piante in armonia fra loro che davano ancora più sapore alla splendida dimora. soggiornare qui vi dara pace e serentà,che spesso non è facile trovare in una casa che non è la tua e in cui ci stai per pochi giorni. Un giardino fuori dal tempo in un'antica casa nobiliare ristrutturata: è tutto merito della signora Gabriella che ci accoglie con infinita gentilezza. Alla nostra camera molto confortevole e ad una golosa colazione in terrazza con dolci e marmellate fatte in casa occorre aggiungere il piacere di discutere con Gabriella. Nel varcare la soglia del glicine ti accoglie la delicatezza dell'orto botanico che ti ammalia, inaspettato scrigno, amabilmente e sapientemente preservato. Impagabili gli accompagnatori (cani) scodinzolanti lungo il vialetto. È uno di quei rari luoghi in cui si possono ancora scoprire antiche "sinestesie", ormai sopite. Poi, col passare del tempo matura la sensazione di essere arrivato in un "solacium" di federiciana memoria, mentre, fuori dalle porte "scee", troiani e achei combattono una guerra senza vincitori. Questa "isola bianca" di omerica memoria, ha una custode, fuori dal tempo, Menmosyne, la cui missione è preservare l'integrità del luogo. E, Se fosse una quarta dimensione. tutto impeccabile. Extraordinaire séjour chez Gabriella, qui vous reçoit avec générosité. Demeure magnifique du XVIII s, aménagée avec raffinement au sein d'un jardin luxuriant, la suite que nous avons occupée était parfaite, vaste et agréablement aménagée. Gabriella nous a fait découvrir la beauté des végétaux du jardin, et gouter ses merveilles au petit déjeuner. Une explosion de fraîcheur et de goût. Un giardino dai profumi inerbrianti, curato amorevolmente dalla signora Pucci, accoglie gli ospiti del bed and breakfast, che la signora accompagna nelle camere accoglienti ed arredate con gusto non comune. La struttura è collocata in un quartiere molto verde e silenzioso di Mondello e da essa è facile raggiungere le varie mete della zona.
