"B&B L'Orto Sul Tetto" is a prestigious home for breathing in the scent of our past, a lovely, refined building, a period building where echoes of the past blend with modern comfort.

A well situated B&B, 3 min away on foot from the Duomo. Rooms are basic, as much decorated as a monk’s cell and mattresses are directly on a wooden board. However the place is clean and you will get a warm welcome from very nice staff. There is a small terrace / garden on the roof with a nice (partial) view of the upper part of the town. The best view you can get because I did not find any better viewpoint. Grazie mille Rosita per la sua accoglienza, è stato uno spasso!

Per quanto riguarda la colazione, cornetti, marmellate fatte in casa, torte fatte in casa, muffin fatti in casa, yogurt, frutta di stagione, arance e mandarini biologici...più di questo non so cosa possa esserci per essere una colazione ricca .

L'orto sul tetto è la struttura che ti fa sentire a casa, grazie anche alle persone che lo gestiscono, super simpatiche e disponibili. Ottima la sua posizione, a due passi dal centro e dalla bellissima cattedrale di San Giorgio, visibile già dal b&b. La terrazza è la ciliegina sulla torta della struttura, vista sui tetti, sulla cupola della cattedrale e su Ragusa, tutto ciò al mattino ti da la carica giusta. L'Orto sul tetto è un angolo di raffinatezza e di buon gusto nel cuore di Ragusa Ibla. La casa è davvero bella, a cominciare dai pavimenti in pietra pece, la pietra di Ragusa che è difficile vedere altrove, in un susseguirsi di angoli e angolini estremamente gradevoli. La camera in cui sono stata è silenziosa, spaziosa e ben arredata, con grande cura dei dettagli, dagli interruttori elettrici (riproduzioni!) d'epoca alla biancheria da letto. Bellissimo lo spazio sul tetto in cui si fa colazione, e che colazione! Non ho provato le varie brioches proposte in abbondanza, in compenso ho molto apprezzato, tra le varie, le marmellate al mandarino e al gelso nero, il pane fresco e il cake fatto in casa a mele e cannella. C'è anche una buona scelta di te. Al tutto si aggiungono la professionalità, la gentilezza e il garbo del proprietario. Insomma, non avrei potuto trovare un posto migliore dove stare a Ragusa!
