Ottimo sotto tutti i punti di vista. Anna Maria è una persona speciale, molto disponibile e cortese. La struttura è molto bella e ben ristrutturata. Dal piccolo balcone ci si affacciava su un meraviglioso panorama. Colazioni ricche e gustose nel piccolo giardino-terrazzo. Parcheggio in una via a pochi metri dal b&b. Ci ritornerò sicuramente. Ci siamo fermati una sola notte. Tutto all'altezza delle nostre aspettative. Padroni di casa cordialissimi che ci hanno aiutato a valorizzare ancora di più la nostra permanenza breve ma intensa (preparatevi a camminare tanto se volete visitare Modica) con tanti consigli preziosi su dove andare e cosa vedere. We loved our 3 night stay at Le Lumie in 'the brown room' with small balcony - average size room, simply furnished. It has AC, & TV, free wi-fi no other facilities in the room. The bathroom had shower with curtain, cleverly designed with frosted glass wall into bedroom. Good pillows, nice linen & towels, basic toiletries The absolutely highlight is the courtyard garden, a cool relaxing oasis to come home to at the end of the day, magic views.. plus having breakfast served in the garden - the breakfast is amazing, very generous, wonderful fresh seasonal fruit, boiled eggs, yummy pastries & other regional cakes, also meat & cheese.. great coffee. A feast! This property is centrally located - location ++ it is approx. 92 steps up from Corso Umberto (Chiesa di San Pietro) less than 5min walk to Chiesa di San Giorgio - or you can walk up the road (no steps) but it is longer. Federica, Marta & their mother are wonderful, warm & welcoming hosts - lots of good recommendations for restaurants & sights to see We did two day trips by taxi to Noto & Scicli - also Taxi transfer to Ortigia Restaurants: Taverna Nicastro & street food at ' Accursiò opp. their main restaurant I highly recommend this delightful B&B.
